"Dave Fox's writing is hilarious. It's rare to find a person who has such unique stories to tell and can write about them to boot."

Life On Board
Sailing on the Insignia

The Insignia is a 700-passenger vessel with a great mix of inside, outside, and suite accommodations. Formal dress has been shelved in favor of “resort casual” attire. There's no need to pack formal wear unless you want to.

The kitchens aboard Oceania ships are overseen by award-winning chef Jacques Pépin. Dining on the Oceania differs from most cruise lines. Instead of the standard two-seating format many companies use, you can make reservations to eat whenever you like, with whomever you like. The ship offers five different restaurants ranging from casual to swanky. You can also enjoy poolside dining or 24-hour room service. All meals on board are included in the cost of the cruise.

Oceania offers a variety of shore excursions at each port of call. More adventurous and/or frugal travelers may choose to strike out on their own.

Brad Cilley at Northwest Travel Service has also negotiated some great bonuses for our group, including a private cocktail reception at the start of the cruise, and prepaid your gratuities throughout the voyage so you never need to worry about tipping. In addition, the first 30 cabins booked for our group will receive a shipboard credit of 200 dollars per cabin to use in the spa, lounge, or shops on board.
